Volunteer Trainings

In October 2006, CREW held meetings with volunteers throughout the Northeast. At these trainings, participants discussd how to talk about wolves and wolf protection with different audiences; how to make a presentation about wolves and CREW's work; "hot button" questions and good answers; and strategies for reaching out to communities and policymakers. Participants received a copy of a PowerPoint presentation and a set of CREW educational materials.

State meetings

During the summer of 2005, the Coalition to Restore the Eastern Wolf held state meetings throughout the Northeast. The purpose of these meetings was to discuss the background and current status of wolf recovery efforts and related issues (such as habitat conservation and endangered species protection) and to identify new avenues for collaboration and action with organizations, individuals, and agencies working on wildlife and land conservation issues.

If you’re interested in finding out about what was discussed, please contact us.
